The Allstate Foundation and Dress for Success created My Dollar, My Life to help people promise to improve their financial futures. Your promises triggered a $10,000 donation from the Allstate Foundation to Grameen America to help aspiring women entrepreneurs.
The film ‘To Catch a Dollar: Muhammad Yunus Banks on America’ shows how individuals below the poverty line work hard to make every dollar count. Some My Dollar, My Life promises made were bigger in scope, like saving an extra $25 every month. Others were smaller, like buying one less coffee every week. Big or small, these steps can add up to real financial gains over time. See some of the promises made below.
